5 Operation
WARNING
Before switching the machine on,
make sure that you observe all
safety instructions.
• Connect the power plug of the machine
into a properly installed socket.
• Set mains switch at rear of paper shred-
der to „I“.
Feed paper
• Insert the paper to be de-
stroyed. See “Technical data”
for sheet capacity.
Automatic start stop control
starts the cutting system auto-
matically.
Paper is pulled into cutting
system and shredded.
When the paper fee ding
opening is free again, the
cut ting sy stem au to ma tical ly
swit ches off af ter app rox.

Shredding credit cards and store cards
Put the cards into the infeed slot so they
can be detected by the start/stop system.
• Set mains switch at rear of paper shred-
der to „0“.
