Set up Bluetooth
You can listen to music over a Bluetooth stereo
headset, or have hands-free conversations using a
compatible Bluetooth headset or car kit. The
procedure is the same for both features.
1. From the Home screen, slide the Notifications panel
open.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap the Bluetooth On/Off switch to turn Bluetooth
on or off.
4. Tap Bluetooth. The Bluetooth screen will open.
Your phone will start to scan for Bluetooth devices
within range.
5. If you don’t see your headset listed, tap Menu >
Search for devices to refresh the list.
*Make sure the headset is discoverable, so that
your phone can find the headset. Refer to the
instructions that came with the headset to find out
how to set it in discoverable mode.
6. When you see the name of your headset displayed
in the Available devices section, tap the name of the
device. Your phone will automatically try to pair
with the headset.
*If automatic pairing fails, enter the passcode
supplied with your headset.
