Front Panel Controls

Power Indicator Lamp

Indicates when the unit is correctly connected to AC power and the On-Off switch is in the 'On' position.

AC Welding Mode

Welding Mode Switch

Adjustment Knob

Determines the welding amperage, adjustable from 5 to 200 amps, displayed when remote is off.

SLOPE DOWN or SPOT TIME Button

Adjusts the slope down time for TIG modes or spot welding time for TIG SPOT mode.

FINAL CURRENT Buttons

Adjusts the final current for TIG 4T, PROGRAM, or pulse modes, from 10% to 90% of base current.

POST GAS

Adjusts the post-gas flow time, essential for preventing weld defects and protecting tungsten.

PULSE ON

Activates pulse mode, allowing adjustment of duty cycle and frequency for specialized welding.

AC Frequency Knob

Adjusts the AC frequency from 20 Hz to 200 Hz to control arc characteristics and bead width.

REMOTE ON

Activates remote amperage control via foot pedal or torch, allowing amperage limiting.

AC Balance Knob

Adjusts the balance of the AC wave, affecting penetration and cleaning action.

Front Panel Connections

Gas Output Connection

Connects the gas fitting from the TIG Torch.

Negative Output Receptacle

Connects the TIG Torch or electrode holder for DCEN stick welding.

3 Pin Trigger Connection

Used for TIG torches with on/off triggers; not typically used with this machine's standard setup.
