7 FM Radio
There is an embedded radio in the phone. You can listen to the radio by
simply inserting the headset. The headset cable is used as the antenna.
Cautions:
z Use an approved headset only.
z Adjust the volume when using the headset. A very high
volume may damage your hearing.
z The radio performance depends on the signal strength in the
area.
Switching On/Off the Radio
Switching On the Radio
1.
Connect the headset to the phone correctly.
2. Press (Menu) and select FM Radio.
The phone displays "Radio On!". The radio is switched on and the
broadcasting interface is displayed.
3. Select a channel and play the program.
Switching Off the Radio
1.
In the standby mode, press (Menu) and select FM Radio.
2. Press (Options) and select Switch Off.
3. Press (Select) to switch off the radio and return to the main
screen.
î Notes:
z The radio is switched off if you disconnect the headset for
over two minutes, unless you are answering a call.
z If you set the ring tone or adjust the volume while the radio is
on, the radio is muted automatically until you finish setting.
z When there is an incoming call, the radio is muted
automatically until you finish talking. You can answer the call
by using the headset or disconnecting the headset. If you
disconnect the headset and do not re-connect it in two
minutes the radio is switched off.
