Front View Controls

  • Left Function Key: Accesses the main menu in standby mode and selects the option displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
  • Navigation Keys (OK, Up, Down, Left, Right):
    • OK Key: Accesses the main menu in standby mode.
    • Navigation Keys (Up, Down, Left, Right): Accesses shortcut menus, adjusts volume during a call, scrolls through lists, and selects options.
  • Right Function Key: Selects the option displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Mute Key: Mutes or unmutes an ongoing call.
  • End Key: Ends or rejects a call, powers the phone on or off (press and hold), and returns to standby mode.
  • Shortcut Keys: Speed dials a phone number. Can be assigned a shortcut key via Settings > Phone settings > Speed dial.
  • Hands-free Key: Makes or answers a call without lifting the handset in standby mode. In hands-free mode, cancels dialing or ends the current call.
  • Call Key: Makes or answers a call, and views dialed calls in standby mode.
  • Number and Symbol Keys (0-9, #, *): Enters numbers, letters, and symbols. Speed-dials user-assigned phone numbers (press and hold 2-9). Switches text input methods (# key). Displays the symbol list (* key).
  • CONF Key (Conference): Initiates a conference call with up to six participants when in an active call.
  • TRANS Key (Transfer): Transfers an incoming call to another number when already in a call.
  • HOLD Key: Holds or resumes a call.

Indicators

  • Bluetooth Indicator:
    • Off: No Bluetooth device connected.
    • Blinking fast in blue (0.5s off, 0.5s on): A Bluetooth device is being connected.
    • Blinking slowly in blue (14.5s off, 0.5s on): A Bluetooth device is connected.
    • Steady blue: A call is in progress over a Bluetooth headset.
  • Status Indicator:
    • Off: Normal state.
    • Steady green: Missed calls, unread messages, new voicemails, or software updates.

Screen Icons

  • Full reception: Indicates strong signal.
  • No service: Indicates no network signal.
  • Hands-free mode: Indicates hands-free mode is active.
  • Unopened voicemail message: Indicates new voicemail.
  • Full battery: Indicates a fully charged battery.
  • 2G network: Indicates connection to a 2G network.
  • In silent profile: Indicates silent mode is active.
  • Bluetooth enabled: Indicates Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Calling: Indicates an active call.
  • Alarm clock: Indicates an alarm is set.
  • Unread message: Indicates new unread messages.
  • Powered by the power adapter: Indicates the device is connected to a power adapter.
  • Headset mode: Indicates a headset is connected.
  • 3G network: Indicates connection to a 3G network.
  • FM radio enabled: Indicates FM radio is active.
  • Update available: Indicates a software update is available.

Basic Operations

  • Powering On/Off: Press and hold the End key.
  • Making a Call: Enter a number in standby mode and press the Call key.
  • Answering/Rejecting a Call: Press the Call key to answer, or the End key to reject.
  • Using Bluetooth Headset: Enable Bluetooth via Tools > Bluetooth, then pair the headset.
  • Sending Messages: Select Messages > Write message, compose, and send.
  • Reading Messages: Select Messages > Inbox.
  • Text Input Methods: Supports traditional, predictive, and number input. Switch methods with the # key. Delete characters with the right function key. Enter spaces with the 0 key. Display symbols with the * key.
  • FM Radio: Access via Tools > FM radio. Adjust channel and volume using navigation keys.
  • Internet Connection: Connects to a computer via USB for data services. Requires installation of a management program.
  • Security:
    • Phone Lock: Protects against unauthorized use. Set via Settings > Security settings > Power-on password. Default PIN is 000000.
    • Keypad Lock: Locks the keypad in standby mode (press and hold # key). Unlock by pressing the right function key then * key. Auto keypad lock can be set via Settings > Phone settings > Auto keypad lock.
  • Software Updates: Supports automatic and manual updates via Settings > Software update.

Maintenance Features

Installation

  • SIM Card Installation: Ensure golden contacts face downward and the beveled edge aligns with the slot.
  • Battery Installation: Ensure the battery is correctly installed. Charge new phones before first use. Remove the battery if the phone will not be used for a long time.

  • Heat Dissipation: Do not block device openings; reserve 10 cm space.
  • Sharp Objects: Keep away from earpiece/speaker.
  • Overheating: Stop using if overheated to prevent burns.
  • Antenna: Do not touch the device's antenna.
  • Children/Pets: Do not allow children or pets to bite/suck the device or accessories.
  • Installation Distance: Install and operate with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body. Maintain 25 cm from other metal materials and 30 cm from metal doors/windows for good reception.
