Using the WAN Port
If there is at least one Ethernet wall jack available in your home, you can access the Internet
using the Ethernet.

2 Powering On the HG635
To power on the HG635, press its power button.
After the HG635 is powered on, the HG635 indicator turns on. The following table lists how
the indicators behave when the HG635 is operating correctly. If the indicators do not behave
as expected, ensure that everything is plugged in correctly.

Green On
The HG635 is powered on and finished booting.
The HG635 is powered on, but booting failed.
WAN
Green On
The HG635 is activated through Ethernet or DSL.
Internet Green On
The Internet connection is successfully established
but no data is being transmitted.
