System Update
Update the Tablet System Online
l Before installing the update, connect your Tablet to the Internet. Online updates consume
mobile data, so it is recommended that you use a Wi-Fi network.
l Make sure that the battery level remains above 30% during the update.
l Using unauthorized third-party software to update your Tablet may damage your Tablet or put
your personal information at risk. You are advised to update your Tablet online or bring your
Tablet and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for updates.
l
Back up important data before updating your Tablet.
l After the update, certain third-party apps, such as e-banking and game apps, may be
incompatible with the new system. Regularly update such third-party apps to
x compatibility
issues.
1 Open Settings.
2 Go to System > Software update. When the system detects a new version, go to New version
> DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL.
To disable system updates, go to and disable Auto-download over Wi-Fi.
Tablet updates take some time. Do not perform any operations during the update. After an update,
your Tablet will automatically restart.
