To ensure device security, change the default password immediately after logging in to the switch for the first time.
For security purposes, a password must contain at least two types of the following: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, digits,
and special characters (such as ! $ # %). In addition, the password cannot contain spaces or single quotation marks (').
To ensure device security, change the password periodically.

If the web pages cannot be displayed properly, your web browser may need an upgrade. For details
about the web browser requirements, see the of the switch.
By default, the S1720GW, S1720GWR, and S1720X can only be managed using the web system of the
EasyOperation edition, whereas the S1720GF, S1720GFR-P, S1720GW-E, S1720GWR-E, and S1720X-E
can be managed using the web system of the EasyOperation edition, CLI, and SNMP.
The login page of the EasyOperation edition diers slightly from that in the figure in the following section.

Login Procedure
Connect your computer to any Ethernet port of the switch using a network cable. For the
S1720X and S1720X-E, connect the Ethernet cable to the ETH management port.
Configure an IP address for the computer, which must be on the same network segment as the
default IP address of the switch.
Open a web browser on the computer, enter
https://192.168.1.253 in the address bar, and
press Enter. The default username and password
are available in S Series Switches Default

The password change page is displayed during the login process the first time you log in to the web system only when
the switch runs V200R009C00 or a later version.
The password change page is also displayed if your password will expire or has expired. To access the home page of the
web system, you must change the password.

In V200R020C00 and later versions, the switch does not have a default web login password. You need to create a user
name and set a password when logging in to the web system for the first time.
