The value of S

is valid only if the conductors of the PE cable and AC power cable use the
same material. If the materials are dierent, ensure that the conductor of the PE cable with a
proper cross-sectional area produces a conductance equivalent to that of the cable specied in
the table.
The specications of the PE cable are subject to this table or calculated according to IEC
60364-5-54.
The cable diameter must comply with local cable standards.
The factors that
aect cable selection include the rated current, cable type, routing mode,
ambient temperature, and maximum expected line loss.
