Plasma Gas Condition:
- Gas pressure range: 0.5MPa~0.7MPa
- Gas supply pipe compression strength: ≥1MPa
- Gas supply pipe inner dimension: ≥Φ8
- Gas flow: ≥180L/min
- Filter the water in the gas, then feed into the plasma.
Usage Features:
The machine is designed for ease of use with a clear control panel and various adjustable settings.
- Power On Self Test: After powering on, the machine performs a self-test. The LED indicators will light up, then turn off, and the display will show the air pressure value. The memory status is recalled and displayed on the panel.
- Air Pressure Adjustment: The air pressure can be adjusted using the "GAS TEST" knob.
- Liquid Flow Display: The liquid flow can be displayed by pressing the "TORCH" key and switching to "WATER COOLING" status.
- Cutting Current Setting: The cutting current can be adjusted using the knob. In standby mode, the meter displays the pre-setting current. In cutting mode, it displays the actual cutting current.
- Secondary Menu: Access to a secondary menu allows for fine-tuning of various parameters, including gas pre-flow time, gas post-flow time, cutting time, piercing time, and monitoring warning functions.
- Torch Monitoring Function: The machine monitors the torch's working condition and displays warning codes for issues like excessive wear of the nozzle and electrode. Users can choose to stop working or display warning information.
- Cutting Material and Thickness: The selection of cutting parameters (current, gas flow, arc voltage) depends on the material type and thickness. The manual provides a cutting table for low carbon steel with different thicknesses and corresponding cutting speeds.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of the LGK-200/300/400MA.
- Coolant System: The coolant box should be filled with 20L of coolant. The coolant liquid is irritating to skin and eyes, and should be handled with care. If contact occurs, wash immediately with clean water and seek medical help. Do not use anti-freezing solution as coolant. The working temperature of the coolant liquid is between -12°C~40°C. If the temperature is not within this range, self-control mixed coolant liquid should be used.
- Filter and Regulator: The pressure regulating filter should be checked periodically. If the water level reaches two-thirds of the filter glass, it must be drained. The gas supply valve should be closed during water draining.
- Grounding: Ensure proper grounding of the machine and the workpiece to prevent electric shock.
- Consumables: Regularly check and replace worn-out consumables (nozzle, electrode, swirl ring, shielding cap) to maintain cutting quality. The torch monitoring function helps in this regard.
- Cleaning: Keep the machine clean and free from dust and metal filings. Open and clear inside the machine with dry compressed air at least once a year.
- Cable Inspection: Check the insulation of all cables regularly and repair any damages.
- Filter Regularity: Discharge water and impurities in the filter regularly.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a detailed troubleshooting guide for common issues, including power supply problems, torch and wire damage, gas pressure issues, water cooling problems, and abnormal indicator lamps.
- Qualified Electrician: Only qualified electricians should maintain the machine, and the power should be cut off during maintenance.
Safety Precautions:
- Electric Shock: Always ensure proper grounding and wear protective gear. Do not touch live electrical parts.
- Fumes and Gases: Ensure adequate ventilation. Plasma cutting produces harmful fumes and gases.
- Fire and Explosion: Keep flammable materials away from the cutting area. Spatter can cause fire.
- Radiation: Wear protective shields to protect against ultraviolet radiation.
- Noise: Wear hearing protection as noise levels can exceed 80 dB.
- Lifting Equipment: Use appropriate lifting equipment when moving the machine.
By following these guidelines, users can ensure safe, efficient, and long-lasting operation of the LGK-200/300/400MA air plasma cutting machine.
