The HuPro supersonic humidifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by restoring appropriate humidity levels, thereby alleviating discomfort associated with dry air. It is suitable for use in homes and offers a range of benefits including promoting better sleep, relieving cold and flu symptoms, reducing headaches and allergy symptoms, moisturizing and improving skin elasticity, and protecting wooden surfaces and hardware floors by ensuring optimal humidity. The device also cares for indoor plants and is designed for low energy consumption.

Function Description:

The HuPro humidifier operates as an ultrasonic humidifier, producing both cool and warm mist. It features an intuitive interface, a stylish design, and an automatic safety system. The device is equipped with a 4-liter capacity water tank, capable of humidifying for up to 30 hours. It offers 5 speed levels for mist output and includes an automatic shut-off function when the water tank is empty. The top-filling design simplifies the refilling process.

Key functions include:

• On/Off: A short press turns the humidifier on or off.
• Humidity Level Control: Users can select a desired humidity level between 30% and 75%. The device will maintain this level and display the current humidity.
• Sleep Mode: Pressing and holding the humidity button turns off the display, entering sleep mode. Any button press will exit this mode.
• Timer: An auto shut-off timer can be set for 1 to 12 hours. Pressing and holding the timer button disables this function.
• Warm Mist/Anion Function: Pressing once activates warm mist mode, which reaches maximum temperature (140°F) within 15-20 minutes. Pressing again enables the ionization mode. To turn off either mode, press the button until the desired combination is achieved. The UV lamp can be turned on/off by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds; its light is visible through side openings or when the cover is removed.
• Mist Output Slider: The "MAX" indicator activates maximum mist power, while "MIN" activates minimum mist power. Users can slide their finger across the panel to select any of the 5 available mist output levels.
• Automatic Protection (Water Shortage): If the water tank is empty, the device automatically stops working and enters Standby Mode. A water shortage symbol appears on the display, accompanied by three warning beeps (no beeps in Sleep Mode). Refilling the tank resumes operation. If there is too much water, an "EF" symbol appears, and the humidifier stops; removing some water allows it to resume operation in its current mode.
• Aroma Oil Tray: The device includes a dedicated aroma box for essential oils. Users can apply 2-3 drops of natural essential oil onto the sponge in the tray. It is crucial to use only natural essential oils and add them only to the aroma box to prevent damage to the device. The number of drops can be adjusted based on desired smell intensity.

Usage Features:

• Placement: The humidifier should be placed on a hard, flat, dry, horizontal surface, away from direct sunlight, walls, and heat sources. It should not be placed on varnished, painted, or wooden surfaces that could be damaged by moisture, nor on floors with underfloor heating.
• Water Type: Use cold, distilled, or demineralized water (not over 100°F) to prevent white dust caused by high mineral content in tap water.
• Filling: Water should only be poured into the water tank, not directly into the humidifier base or the air tube, as this can cause malfunction. The humidifier base fills automatically via a water tank valve.
• Safety: Do not insert or remove the electric plug with wet hands. Avoid shaking the appliance to prevent water spillage into the unit base. Do not touch water or components while the unit is in operation.
• Environmental Considerations: Do not use the appliance in rooms where aerosol products are used or oxygen is being administered. Ensure the air in the room is not already sufficiently humid (relative humidity of at least 50%). The ideal relative humidity for human comfort is between 45% and 60%.
• Remote Control: The device comes with a remote control for convenient operation, including ON/OFF, mist level selection, humidity level adjustment, sleep mode activation, warm anion mode, timer setting, and auto humidification mode. Battery replacement for the remote involves pressing two buttons in sequence to remove the battery container.

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning Frequency: The transducer, water tank, and basin should be cleaned weekly. The water in the tank should be changed often to keep it fresh.
• Transducer Cleaning: Apply 5-10 drops of cleaning agent or vinegar to the transducer surface, wait 2-5 minutes, then brush off scale and rinse with clean water.
• Humidifier Base Cleaning: Clean the water basin with a soft cloth and cleaning agent/vinegar if scale is present. For deposits on the security switch, apply cleaning agent/vinegar and clean with a brush. Rinse the water basin with clean water.
• Ceramic Filter: The water filter contains active carbon and mineral pellets (maifanite & tourmaline minerals) that resonate with water particles and generate negative ions to extract impurities. The filter should be rinsed with tap water every 1-2 weeks. It does not require replacement as long as its structure is not compromised.
• Storage: Before storing, unplug the device, pour out all water from the reservoir, dry it with a cloth, and allow the device to cool down. Store it in a cold, dry place away from children.
• Disposal: The device must be disposed of separately at the end of its life and can be recycled at local electronics and appliance recycling depots.
