Why my Husky C602H won't turn on?
    • C
      Christopher KingJul 27, 2025
Your Husky air compressor might not be starting due to several reasons: * The tank pressure is too low; the compressor will automatically turn on when pressure drops to the cut-in level. * There's no electrical power; check the wiring inside the pressure switch and terminal box. * A fuse has blown or the circuit breaker has tripped; inspect the fuse/breaker to find out why. * The thermal overload protector is on; turn the air compressor OFF ( O ), wait for it to cool down, depress the red reset button on the motor and then turn the air compressor to AUTO ( I ). * There may be a loss of power or overheating; verify the wiring. Note that long electrical wires could cause power loss. * The pressure switch might be faulty; in this case, replace it.

If the fuses blow or the circuit breaker trips repeatedly on your Husky air compressor, consider the following: * Ensure you're using the correct fuse size. * Try using time-delay fuses. * Disconnect other appliances from the circuit, or operate the compressor on its own branch circuit. * Check for loose electrical connections inside the pressure switch and terminal box area.

If your Husky air compressor motor hums, but runs slowly or not at all, the possible causes are: * Low voltage from the power source; check the voltage with a voltmeter. * Loose electrical connections; verify the wiring connections inside the pressure switch and the terminal box area are secure.
