NOTE: Fuelstabilizeris an acceptable
alternative in minimizingthe formationof
fuel gumdeposits duringstorage. Add
stabilizerto gasoline in fuel tank or stor-
age container. Always follow the mix ratio
found on stabilizercontainer. Runengine
at least 10 minutesafter addingstabilizer
to allow the stabilizerto reachthe car-
buretor. Do not empty the gas tank and
carburetor if usingfuel stabilizer.
ENGINEOIL
Drainoil (withenginewarm) andreplace
with clean engine oil. (See "ENGINE"in
the Maintenancesectionofthis manual).
CYLINDER
1. Removesparkplug.
2. Pouroneounce (29ml) ofoil through
spark plug hole into cylinder.
3. Pull starter handle slowlya few times to
distributeoil.
4. Replacewith newspark plug.
OTHER
o Do not store gasolinefrom oneseason
to another.
o Replaceyour gasolinecan if your can
starts to rust. Rustand/ordirt in your
gasolinewill cause problems.
o If possible,store your unit indoorsand
cover it to protect itfrom dust and dirt.
o Cover your unitwith a suitableprotec-
tive coverthat does not retain moisture.
Do not use plastic. Plasticcannot
breathe,which allows condensationto
form and will cause your unitto rust.
IMPORTANT: Never cover mowerwhile
engine and exhaust areas are still warm.
_IbCAUTION: Never store the lawn
mower with gasoline in the tank inside a
building where fumes may reach an open
flame or spark. Allow the engine to cool
before storing in any enclosure.

to a Husqvarna or other qualified service center.

with fresh, clean gasoline.
4. Empty fuel tank and refill tank
with fresh, clean gasoline.
5. Connect wire to plug.
6. Replace spark plug.
7. Tighten blade bolt or
replace blade adapter.
8. Depress control bar to
handle.
9. Replace control bar.
10. Turn fuel valve lever
to the ON position.
11. Charge battery.
12. Connect battery to engine.
