  An uneven cut with your Husqvarna Lawn Mower can result from a worn, bent, or loose blade; replace the blade and tighten the blade bolt. It could also be that the mower deck is not level, so level the mower deck. A buildup of grass, leaves, or trash under the mower can also cause this, so clean the underside of the mower housing. Additionally, a bent blade mandrel or clogged mower deck vent holes can be the cause, so replace the blade mandrel or clean around mandrels to open vent holes.

Other potential causes include a weak or dead battery, a blown fuse, corroded battery terminals and loose or damaged wiring. Recharge or replace the battery, replace the fuse, clean the battery terminals and check all wiring. A faulty ignition switch, solenoid, or starter could also be the problem; check and replace these as needed. Finally, faulty operator presence switch(es) can cause this issue, in which case you should contact an authorized service center/department.

A bad spark plug is another common reason; replace it if necessary. Also, a weak or dead battery will cause this issue, so recharge or replace the battery. Other possible causes: a dirty fuel filter, stale or dirty fuel, loose or damaged wiring, a carburetor out of adjustment, or engine valves out of adjustment. Replace the fuel filter, empty the fuel tank and refill with fresh, clean gas, check all wiring. For carburetor or engine valves issues, see “To Adjust Carburetor” in Service Adjustments section or contact an authorized service center/department.
