CAUTION
In order to avoid damage due to insufficent lubrication and overloading of
the starter, do not rev up the engine for an unnecessarily long period of
time.
After removing the suction hose, install the filler cap again. (A, ill. 1).
Unscrew the oil hose above the oil tank (C, ill. 2).
Remove the sea water hose from the exhaust elbow union (D, ill. 3).
Unscrew the oil filter cover (E, ill. 4).
The engine oil in the dry sump tub can be removed with the help of the
engine.
Remove the spark plugs first. This makes it easier for the engine. Rev the
starter for a few seconds.
Take off the plugs at the two inject valves (ill. 4).
Hold a hose over the oil drain tub (ill. 5).
Perform this for only a few seconds. Do not run the engine for more than 15
seconds.
To pump the old oil out completely, repeat this procedure 3-4 times.
