The HyperChiller is an iced coffee maker designed to rapidly cool hot beverages. It is available under model numbers HC2(A~Z) and EBC-1023(A~Z). The device is intended for household use and is manufactured with consumer safety in mind, emphasizing careful handling of hot liquids and proper assembly.
The HyperChiller works by utilizing a multi-chamber design that allows hot liquid to flow around frozen stainless steel cups, rapidly transferring heat and cooling the beverage. The core principle involves freezing the internal components (small and large stainless steel cups filled with water) for a minimum of 12 hours until solid. Once frozen, hot coffee or other beverages are poured into the device, circulating around the ice-filled chambers. This process can cool a beverage by up to 130°F+ in as little as one minute, depending on factors like initial liquid temperature, volume, and whether the product is swirled. The cooled beverage is then poured out via a spout on the lid into a serving cup.
The device consists of several key parts:
The internal cups are designed to be filled with water and frozen, creating the cooling elements. The device is designed to be stable and secure when pouring hot liquid, with a caution against overfilling or allowing liquid to pool on the top of the vessel.
