Volume Controls Turning the Radio On
• Turnthechannel/volumeknobtoadjustthevolumeoftheradio

volumeagain

Radio Operation

Volume Controls

Adjust volume using the channel/volume knob. Wait for volume to adjust after changing channels.

Viewing Text Messages

Receive text alerts, press Select to view messages or message list. Scroll and select to read.

Transmitting Voice Calls

Initiate transmission by holding PTT. A talk permit chirp signals readiness. Release PTT to end transmission.

Receiving Voice Calls

Mobiles automatically receive transmissions on the Talkgroup. The screen shows the Talkgroup and transmitter details.

Turning the Radio On

Press and hold the power button to turn on. An error tone sounds on non-programmed channels.

Sending Text Messages

Press Select to display menu. Scroll to Quick Text, select. Scroll to desired message, press Select. Confirm send.

Transmitting Voice Calls Out of Talkgroup

Use contact list to call outside your talkgroup. Press PTT to transmit on selected contact's talkgroup.

Channel Controls

Radio has zones and channels. Push knob center to switch channels. Knob returns to volume control.
