If your Hyundai Portable Generator's diesel engine won't start, first ensure the governor lever is in the START position. Also, check if the emergency STOP button is activated; if so, reset it. Verify there's sufficient fuel. A slow-turning start motor could indicate battery issues, so check the battery performance and connections. If the battery is flat, charge or replace it.
