8. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
8.0
The saw chain must be lubricated at all times.
Before starting work find a clean area, run the chainsaw at medium power and
visually check for oil scatter.
8.1
The chain oil flow can be altered by inserting a screwdriver in to the hole on the
underside of the chain saw and adjusting the oil flow according to your work
conditions.
8.2
The chain oil tank should be nearly empty by the time the fuel has been used.
Make sure you refill the chain oil tank every time you refuel the chainsaw.
8.3
The carburetor has been factory adjusted but may require fine tuning due to
changes in the operating conditions. Before adjusting the carburetor make sure the
air/fuel filters are clean and free of debris and the fuel is mixed correctly.
