STEP 4
• Remove the downtube guard and motor cover.
• Loosen the two bolts which hold the lower battery cradle. Depending on which bolts you have
it may require either a 4mm, 5mm, or T30 Torx key.
• Remove one bolt at a time (to prevent the “nut” that the bolts thread into from falling into the
frame) and reapply Loctite 243 to the threads. Reinsert the bolts and partially thread them
back into the lower mount.
Loosen with 4mm
or 5mm Allen key,
or T30 Torx key
