Keeping a Record 'of Your System
There are three charts in the back of this binder.
They will help you keep a written record of your
3270 PC. The charts are:
• 3270 PC Inventory Record - which units you
ordered
• 3270 PC Components Record - what's installed
in your system unit
• 3270 PC Adapter Locations Record - where
the adapter cards are located in your system
and expansion units
Take a few minutes now, before you go on, to fill
out these cards. It is very important to keep an
up-to-date record of your work station. You
should know what is installed in your 3270 PC.
Aft
accurate record helps you keep track of
where things are. It also helps the person who
may have to service your work station.
What to Do If Something Is Broken
or Missing
Your company probably has instructions that tell
you how to handle computer problems. If so,
follow
those instructions, and report the problem.
If you don't have specific instructions, contact
your supervisor or the person who is supposed to
help you with computer problems.
Be sure you know who to call. It will save you
time in getting help.
