Using the PeerMaster Setup Utility Program
If the flash program is not successful, run the diagnostic program to
diagnose the PeerMaster adapter.
Continue with “Running PeerMaster Diagnostic Programs.”
Running PeerMaster Diagnostic Programs
The /diag parameter is used to initiate the PeerMaster adapter
diagnostics programs. The /bus and /device parameters specify a
specific PeerMaster adapter if multiple adapters are present. If
multiple adapters are present and the /bus and /device parameters
are omitted, PSSETUP permits you to select the specific PeerMaster
adapter from a list of detected adapters.
The /diag option also displays data stored in flash memory on the
PeerMaster adapter.
Each PeerMaster adapter contains a power-on self-test (POST). You
must run the PeerMaster diagnostics program to verify the proper
installation and operation of a PeerMaster adapter.
To run the diagnostics programs:
1. Insert the PeerMaster PCI Server Adapter Option Diskette into
drive A.
2. At the DOS command prompt, type: A:\PSSETUP /diag and
press Enter.
