Use with power distribution units
The 6000VA LCD 4U Rack UPS is designed to work with power distribution units (PDUs) such as the new
IBM 0U 24 C13 30A PDU, which mounts vertically in a rack pocket and does not consume any of the rack
units used for servers and storage. PDUs allow you to increase the number of power sockets available to
servers while still being under the control and security of the uninterruptible power supply. Figure 5 shows
an example configuration.
