Pedestal model printers feature an
adjustment that allows you to select whether
the paper exits from the rear or from the top
of the printer. Normally, you should select the
top exit only when you will be using the
forms soon after printing, as forms will not
stack when in this mode.
Setting Rear Paper Exit
Use this procedure to change the pedestal
printer from top exit to rear exit.
Press Stop to place the printer in
NOT READY state.
If there is paper in the printer, unload the
paper (page 37), then continue with
step 3 of this procedure.
Open the printer cover.
Loosen the two hinge adjustment
thumbscrews.
Slide the cover forward until it stops.
