Power distribution units (PDUs) are required for all IBM racks except for the 7014-B42 rack. If a PDU is
not defaulted or ordered, a power cord is provided with each individual rack-mounted drawer for
connection to a country-specic utility mains receptacle or uninterruptible power supply. See the
individual rack-mounted drawer specications for the appropriate power cords.
