Power down the system
To power down the system, follow these steps:
1. If an Integrated xSeries Adapter (IXA) is present on the system, shut it down
using OS/400 options.
2. Ensure that all jobs are complete.
3. When all jobs are complete, type pwrdwnsys *immed on an iSeries command line
and press Enter.
4. When the iSeries power down is complete, unplug any power cords, such as
printers and displays, from electrical outlets.
5. Unplug the system or expansion unit power cord from the electrical outlet.
