1. Disconnect the diskette-drive signal cable from the
diskette drive and the diskette-drive adapter.
2.
Check the continuity of the diskette-drive signal
cable.
IS THE CABLE OK?
The Pins Labeled 1 Should
Have Continuity Between
Themselves, as Should the
Pins Labeled 2, and so on.
The diskette-drive signal cable is bad. Replace
it.
Repeat advanced POST and the advanced
tests to ensure that the IBM VCjr is operating
correctly.
