The
power
supply
requires
a
sinewave
input
and
converts
the
ac

input
voltage
to
three
dc
output
voltages.
The
power
supply
provides

power
for
the
following:
System board
Channel adapters
Internal diskette drives
internal fixed disk drives
Auxiliary device
Keyboard.
|
The
power
switch
and
one
light-emitting
diode
(LED)
is
on
the
front
of
|
the
system
unit.
The
power
supply
is
operating
when
the
LED
is
lit.
| Outputs
|
The
power
supply
provides
separate
voltage
sources
for
the
system
|
board
and
the
drives.
The
system-board
voltages
are
+5
Vdc,
+12
|
Vde,
and
—12
Vdc.
The
drive
voltages
are
+5
Vdc
and
+12
Vdc.
