b) Repeat step “7.a” on page 56 to install socket dust covers on the remaining system processor
module sockets.
8. Replace the processor voltage regulator modules or processor voltage regulator module llers in
locations P1-C13, P1-C16, P1-C17, and P1-C20.
a) With the levers (A) in the open position, hold the voltage regulator module or ller by its levers
and lower the voltage regulator module or ller into its slot in the system. Refer to the following
image.
b) Gently push the voltage regulator module or ller into its connector.
c) Rotate the levers in the direction that is shown and press down on the latches to secure the
voltage regulator module or ller in its slot.
d) Repeat steps “8.a” on page 57 through “8.c” on page 57 to replace the remaining processor
voltage regulator modules or llers.
