interface
is
the
connecting
point
for

printer

terminal

computer.
The
Proprinter
can
have
two
types
of
interfaces.
The
parallel
interface
is
standard.
The
serial
interface
is
optional.
Parallel
Interface:
Many
computers
have
the
parallel
interface
.
To
ensure
your
computer
has
a
parallel
printer

an

an

or
the
IBM
Branch
Office
serving
your
locality
.
Serial
Interface:
If
your
computer
or
terminal
has
the
serial
interface,
contact
an
IBM
Authorized
Dealer,
an
IBM
Product
Center,
or
your
IBM
marketing
representative.
Printer
Cable
You
need a
printer
cable to connect your
printer
to your com-
puter
or
terminal.
The
printer
cable
does
not
come
with
your
printer. Use
compatible
cables, or:
