5. Put one hand on top of the server for support, and with the other hand, carefully
pull the adapter out of the slot.
6. If you are installing another adapter in this expansion slot, follow the instructions
given under “Replacement.”
7. If you are not installing another adapter in this expansion slot, replace the
expansion-slot cover:
a. Slide the cover over the open expansion slot.
b. Tighten the expansion-slot screw on the top of the expansion-slot cover.
Replacement
To replace an adapter, perform the removal steps in the reverse order.
