overbank
guide

clearance

stop
latch
on
the
carrier
and
the
left
hand
margin
stop.
The
floating
action
of
the
stop
latch
must
be
removed,
by
pulling
the
latch
to
the
right
with
a
spring
hook,
before
this
clear-
ance
can
be
observed.
The
ad
justment
ofthe
overbank
guide
on
the
margin
rack
determinesthe
rest
position
of
the
margin
rack.
The
ad-
justment
insures
that
the
left
margi
n
stop
wi
II
set
accurate-
ly
when
the
stop
is
sl
id
to
the
right
against
the
margin
stop
latch
on
the
carrier.
In
addition;
the
ad
justment
ofthe
overbank
guide,
plus
the
amount
of
lateral
motion
that

guide
permits

design

the
guide)

hand

operation,
automatically
provides

Limiter
-
The
torque
limiter
should
transmit
1
to
2
pounds
pull
on
the
carrier
as
the
carrier
is
unlatching
the
clutch
at
the
left
margin.
If a
spring
scale
is
available,
the
adjustment
may
be
checked
by
holding
against
the
carrier
with
the
push
end
of
the
scale
and
allowing
the
carrier
to
slowly
un-
iatch
the
ciutch
at
the
ieft
margin.
I f no
scale
is
avai
lable,
the
torque
may
be
estimated
by
holding
the
carrier
whi
Ie
the
cl
utch
is
engaged.
The
torque
limiter
should
slip
readily
yet
return
the
carrier
positively
without
any
hesitation
when
the
carrier
is
re-
leased.
The
adjustment
is
made
by
adjusting
the
eccentric
stud
in
the
torque
limiter
hub.
If
sufficient
adjustment
is
not
avai
lable
at
the
eccentric,
the
torque
I
im
iter
spring
may
be
shifted
on
the
torque
limiter
hub
by
positioning
the
torque
limiter
spring
clamp.
