BATTERY BACKUP MODE
When loss of power is detected, the Gyre Interface Module will go into backup mode. In
this mode, the control input is ignored and the module runs the pump at a xed low speed
resulting in a 35-hour run time with a fully charged battery.
The red LED will blink 2-5 times and repeat. The following table shows the relationship
between battery charge and blink pattern:
Battery Voltage Number of blinks
12 Volts or higher 5 blinks
11-12 volts 4 blinks
10-11 volts 3 blinks
9-10 volts 2 blinks
Less than 9 volts 1 blink
Below 8 volts the pump will soon quit working.
