  It's normal for the Icidu Wireless Router to become hot during operation. As long as you can keep your hand on the router’s case, it's not a malfunction. However, if you smell something burning or see smoke coming from the router or A/C power adapter, immediately disconnect the router and A/C power adapter from the power supply (ensure it's safe to do so), and contact your dealer for assistance.

  There could be several reasons why you can't connect to the internet using your Icidu Wireless Router. First, check the Internet connection status in the ‘Status’ -> ‘Internet Connection’ menu. Be patient, as sometimes the internet is simply slow. If you previously connected a computer directly to the internet, try doing so again to see if it connects. Also, double-check your PPPoE / L2TP / PPTP user ID and password. Contact your internet service provider to ensure there are no issues with their service. If you can't connect to specific websites but other internet services work, check your URL/Keyword filter. Try resetting both your router and the device provided by your internet service provider. Finally, try using an IP address instead of a hostname; if this works, check your DNS setting...
