Features and Functions Overview

Smart Button

Configure smart button preferences in the iHome AVS app. Play/Pause audio if not configured.

Mute Button

Press to mute microphone. Alexa Light Bar turns red when mute.

Alexa Button

Features far field voice recognition. Trigger Alexa by tapping.

Snooze/Display Dimmer Button

Cycle display dimmer settings (High, 3, 2, 1, OFF). Snooze alarm.

Bluetooth Button

Enter Bluetooth mode, pair devices, answer/end calls.

Volume Buttons

Adjust volume levels up or down.

Device Indicators and Ports

PM Indicator

Displays PM indicator on the device.

Alexa Light Bar

Visual indicator for Alexa's attention states.

USB Port

Connect USB cable to charge devices while unit is connected to AC power.

Power Connection

Plug AC adapter into DC jack and then to wall outlet.

Wi-Fi Connection Tip

Disable Protected Management Frames if router has it enabled.

Bluetooth Mode Operations

Pairing Bluetooth Devices

Establish communication between unit and Bluetooth device. Stream audio wirelessly.

Pairing Steps

Turn on Bluetooth, make device discoverable, press Bluetooth button, select 'iHome iAV14' on device.

Auto-linking and Resetting Bluetooth

Unit auto-links to paired devices. Press Bluetooth button for 10s to clear/reset.

Using Bluetooth Audio and Speakerphone

Playing Audio via Bluetooth

Manually play music using smartphone controls. Adjust speaker/device volume.

Using the Speakerphone

Unit must be paired with phone. Answer/ignore/end calls using Bluetooth Button.
