To avoid risks during operation:
• This coee machine is intended to be used in domestic and similar purposes
such as:
- in cooking areas reserved for sta in shops, oces and other professional
environments;
- in agritourisms;
- used by customers of hotels, motels and other residential environments;
- in bed&breakfast style environments.
• Use this coee machine only as specified in these instructions.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over if supervised
by adults or well-trained in its safe use and are aware of the dangers involved.
Keep the device and the power cord out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that no child has the opportunity to play with this coee machine
by leaving it within reach.
• This appliance may be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or with insucient experience and/or skills if they are su-
pervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the
dangers involved.
• Steam and hot water can cause burns! Do not place your fingers under the
spout while the machine is functioning.
• Always close the lever and do not open it while the appliance is dispensing.
• Do not place your fingers inside the capsule container to avoid possible injuries.
• Do not use damaged or deformed capsules. Water may run around the cap-
sule that has not been properly punctured and may cause damage to the
appliance.
• Do not use the coee machine without the drip tray.
To avoid damage to the machine:
• Only fill the tank with drinking water; never use sparkling water or other liquids.
• To prevent the pump from running empty and overheating, before switching
on the appliance, always verify if the tank contains sucient water.
