POSITIONING
• Place the coee machine on a stable horizontal dry surface, suitable to with-
stand weight and heat and far from heating and water outlets.
• Do not place it on other appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, refriger-
ators, etc.).
• Do not place it or leave it outdoors.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
To avoid the risk of electric shocks and fires:
• Only connect the coee machine to suitable outlets with an earth connection.
Make sure that the voltage on the nameplate matches the voltage of power
supply.
• Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug are damaged, after a machine
malfunction or after any other kind of damage. Contact an authorized service
centre for inspection, repair, or testing for correct functioning.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer or
by authorised service centres.
• Never run the power cord through corners and sharp edges and keep it away
from heat and moisture.
• To avoid damage, never place the coee machine on or near hot tops (heat-
ers, cooking areas, gas burners, etc.).
• During long periods of inactivity, unplug the unit from the power outlet.
• To avoid damage, unplug the machine by pulling on the plug and not the
power cord; never carry the machine by the power cord.
• Never touch the power cord with wet hands.
• Do not spray water or submerge the appliance either partially or totally. Water
in the presence of electricity is a hazard and the cause of electric shock.
• Never attempt any technical modifications to the coee machine.
Always unplug the power cord from the power outlet:
• Before removing or placing the water tank.
• When filling the tank with water.
• When the appliance is not used for an extended period of time.
• In the event of a fault.
• Before cleaning the appliance.
