WARRANTY
ILX LICHTMVE CORPORATICN warrants this instrument to be free from defects
in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of
shipment. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace the unit
at our option, without charge-.
Limitation
This warranty does not apply to fuses, lamps, or batteries or to defects
caused by abuse, rnodif ication or use of the product for which
it
was not
intended.

CORPORATIW shall not be liable for any
incidental, special or consequential damages.
If a problem occurs, notify ILX LIGHTWAVE CORPORATICN, describing as
thoroughly as possible the nature of the problem including the model and
serial number. You will be given prompt attention regarding servicing or
return
inst ructions.
Returning an Instrument
Before returning an instrument, obtain a return authorization number from
the factory. The instrument should be shipped in the original packing
carton or one that will provide equal protection. Shipping damage
is
not
covered by this warranty. Send the instrument, transportation pre-paid to
the factory, referencing the return authorization number. Repai rs wi
l l
be
made and the instrument will be returned, transportation pre-paid. Repairs
are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or for
90
days,
whichever
is
greater.
Claims
for
Shipping Damage
When the instrument
is
received by the puchaser,
it
should immediately be
inspected for damage to the instrument or shortages on the packing
list.
If the instrument
is
damaged, a claim should be filed with the carrier. A
quotation for estimated costs of repair can be obtained from the factory.
Negotiation and settlement with the carrier must be accomplished by the
cus tome r
.
