This manual contains operat ion and maintenance informat ion for the
LDX-3207 Precision Current Source and optional Model 1205 GPIB/IEEE-
488 Interface. If you want to get started right away you may want
to skip to Chapters 2 and 3 which cover Operation and Remote
Programming.

The LDX-3207
is
a precision current source optimized for driving
laser diodes and LEDs with an output range of 0 to 200
mA
and a
compl iance voltage of 5 volts. Multiple bui
l
t-in protect ion
features ensure that the supply output
is
transient free and
bounded under all conditions. The output level of the 3207
is
controllable in three modes: (1) manually via a 10-turn precision
control knob, (2) through an analog voltage control/rnodulation port,
and (3) remotely via the optional model 1205
GPIB/IEEE-488
Interface.
