How to fix Image 10.8QL Treadmill when the power does not turn on?
    • D
      Donald GravesJul 30, 2025
To troubleshoot power issues with your Image Treadmill, first ensure the power cord is correctly plugged into a surge suppressor and the suppressor into a grounded outlet. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Also, verify the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the circuit breaker near the power cord; if it's tripped, wait five minutes, then reset it. Finally, confirm the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

      Christopher MurphyAug 5, 2025
If your Image Treadmill shuts off during use, check the circuit breaker located near the power cord and reset it if tripped, remembering to wait five minutes before resetting. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. Remove and reinsert the key fully into the console. Also, make sure the on/off switch is in the 'on' position.

Why is the walking belt off-center or slips when walked on Image 10.8QL?
    • J
      Jesse WilliamsAug 11, 2025
To address an off-center walking belt on your Image Treadmill, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt is shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it's shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, with the power cord unplugged, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should allow you to lift each side 3-4 inches off the platform. Plug the treadmill in and test, repeating until properly tightened.

Why does the Image 10.8QL Treadmill walking belt slows when walked on?
    • J
      Jennifer KentAug 17, 2025
If the walking belt on your Image Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using an allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the belt 3 to 4 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.

How to fix Speed/Minutes-Mile display on Image 10.8QL?
    • W
      wfosterAug 23, 2025
To resolve issues with the Speed/Minutes-Mile display on your Image Treadmill console, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Detach Side Shield A from both sides by pressing down on top. Remove the three screws from Side Shield B on each side and remove the shields. Remove the screws from the Motor Hood and carefully remove the hood. Locate the Reed Switch and Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Align the Magnet with the Reed Switch, ensuring a distance of about 1/8 inch. Adjust the Reed Switch if needed and retighten the screw. Reattach the Motor Hood and run the treadmill to check the speed reading. Reattach the side shields.
