Pedestal Entry Server Chassis

Summary

Opening the Chassis

Remove the Side Covers

Unscrew the Thumb screws and remove both side covers.

Remove the Front Panel

Unlock the locking tabs and remove the front panel.

Component Installation

Power Supply Installation

Insert the power supply into the chassis with the fan facing down and secure it.

Motherboard Installation

Connect power cables from the power supply to the motherboard.

5.25" Optical Drive Installation

Install the 5.25" optical drive using secure clips and connect cables.

Front I/O Wires Installation

Connect front panel I/O cables like USB, HDD LED, and audio to the motherboard.

3.5" Floppy Drive Installation

Install the 3.5" floppy drive using secure clips and connect cables.

Expansion and Final Installation

Fan Installation

Install rear and optional front fans, connecting their power cords.

Internal 3.5" HDD Installation

Mount a 3.5" HDD onto the bracket and insert it into the chassis.

Add-On (PCI/AGP) Card Installation

Install expansion cards into PCI/AGP slots using tool-free clips.

Panel Installation

Reattach the front and side panels, securing them with thumb screws.
