A. Regarding Measurement
You will find answers to frequently asked questions about the BP170(B) below. If you have any
questions that are not answered in this section, please contact Product Support.
Question 1. The blood pressure values are dierent per every measurement.
Answer 1. Blood pressure may vary throughout the day, as shown in the gure above.
It is best to test at the same time each day under the same conditions.
Answer 2. Blood pressure may change in the following cases.
• Within 1 hour after meals
• After having alcohol or caffeine
• After smocking
• After taking a bath
• After exercise
• After urination and defecation
• When talking during the measurement
• When being anxious or not relaxed
• When testing in an unfamiliar location
