Why won't my Indesit Dishwasher start or respond to commands?
    • L
      Laura JosephJul 28, 2025
If your Indesit Dishwasher isn't starting or responding, make sure it's properly plugged into the socket. If there was a power outage, press the START/Pause button to resume the cycle. Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a click. If the door was opened for more than 4 seconds during a cycle, close it and press START/Pause. If it still doesn't respond, turn the dishwasher off and on again after a minute. If the issue continues, unplug it for a minute and then plug it back in.

If your Indesit Dishwasher isn't filling with water, verify that there is water in the water supply and that the tap is open. Check that the inlet hose isn't bent. Also, the sieve in the water inlet hose may be clogged, so clean it. After checking and cleaning, turn the dishwasher off and on, then restart a new program.

How to reduce noise from Indesit DSFE 1B10 Dishwasher?
    • G
      Gregory MataAug 17, 2025
If your Indesit Dishwasher is making excessive noise, it could be that the dishes are rattling against each other; make sure to position the crockery correctly. Another cause could be excessive foam. If so, the detergent may not have been measured out correctly or it might not be suitable for dishwashers. Restart the dishwasher by pressing the DRAIN button and run a new program without detergent.

Why does my Indesit Dishwasher finish the cycle prematurely?
    • C
      Christina OsborneAug 22, 2025
If your Indesit Dishwasher is finishing cycles too early, check that the end of the drain hose is placed at the correct height. Also check for siphoning into the home sewage system; if this is happening, install an air admittance valve if necessary. Another potential cause is air in the water supply, so check for leaks or other issues that might be letting air inside.
