Why do my dishes have a bluish tinge from my Indesit DSG 263 Dishwasher?
    • N
      Natalie FordSep 23, 2025
If your dishes have streaks or a bluish tinge after being washed in your Indesit dishwasher, the rinse aid dosage is likely too high. Adjust the rinse aid dosage to a lower setting.

Why are dishes not clean after washing in my Indesit Dishwasher?
    • S
      Steve SalazarAug 25, 2025
If your dishes aren't coming out clean from your Indesit Dishwasher, several factors could be at play. Check if the racks are overloaded or if the crockery hasn't been arranged well. Make sure the sprayer arms can move freely and that you're using an appropriate wash cycle. Also, verify that the detergent is measured correctly and is suitable for dishwashers. Ensure the lid on the rinse aid compartment is shut correctly, the filter isn't dirty or blocked, and the refined salt level isn't low.

    • L
      lisa57Aug 26, 2025
If water isn't draining from your Indesit Dishwasher, it might be because the cycle hasn't finished yet. Check if the water inlet hose is bent or if the drain duct is blocked. Also, the filter might be clogged with food residues.

Why aren't the dishes drying properly in my Indesit Dishwasher?
    • J
      Joseph HoffmanAug 27, 2025
If your crockery isn't drying properly in your Indesit Dishwasher, it could be due to selecting a wash cycle without a drying program. Also, the rinse aid might be used up, or the dosage is too low. Check if the rinse aid dispenser setting isn't high enough.

Your dishes might not be clean due to several reasons: * The racks are overloaded. * The crockery has not been arranged well. * The sprayer arms cannot move freely. * The wash cycle is too gentle. * An excessive amount of foam has been produced because the detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers. * The lid on the rinse aid compartment has not been shut correctly. * The filter is dirty or blocked. * The refined salt level is low.

    • T
      Thomas CastilloSep 14, 2025
Excessive noise from your Indesit Dishwasher can occur if the dishes are rattling against each other or against the sprayer arms. Also, it might be caused by an excessive amount of foam due to incorrect detergent measurement or using a detergent not suitable for dishwashers.

      danieltorresSep 12, 2025
If your dishes aren't clean after a wash in your Indesit dishwasher, the racks might be overloaded, or the crockery hasn't been arranged well. The sprayer arms might not be moving freely, or the wash cycle is too gentle. Too much foam could have been produced, or the lid on the rinse aid compartment isn't shut correctly. The filter might also be dirty or blocked, or the refined salt level is low. Check the loading, arrangement, sprayer arms, cycle selection, detergent and rinse aid usage, filter, and salt levels.

Why does my Indesit DSG 263 Dishwasher leave a white film on dishes?
    • D
      Douglas PettySep 12, 2025
If your dishes and glasses are covered in a white film or limescale deposits after using your Indesit Dishwasher, the level of refined salt might be low, or the dosage setting might not be suited to the hardness of the water. Also, ensure the lid on the salt dispenser is closed properly. The rinse aid might be used up, or the dosage could be too low. Note that the crockery might be made from non-stick material.

Why Indesit DSG 263 is not taking water and the drying and end indicator lights flash?
    • M
      margaret92Sep 4, 2025
If your Indesit Dishwasher isn't taking in water and the Drying and End indicator lights are flashing, there might be no water in the mains supply, or the water inlet hose could be bent. Turn on the tap; the appliance should start after a few minutes. If indicator lights were flashing and no action was taken, the appliance might be locked. To unlock it, switch off the machine using the ON/OFF button, turn on the tap, and switch the machine back on after 20 seconds by pressing the same button. Reprogram the machine and restart the wash cycle.
