Usage Features

Selecting a Programme:

  1. Turn the program selector knob (A) clockwise until the desired program's symbol/number aligns with the pointer.
  2. Adjust the temperature control knob (B) to the desired setting. This allows reducing the recommended temperature or selecting a cold wash.
  3. Ensure the drying cycle knob (C) is in the desired position (if drying is intended).
  4. Use optional buttons E (Easy Iron), F (Slow Spin), or G (Stain Removal) as needed.
  5. Press the ON-OFF button (H) to the 'I' (on) position. The pilot lamp (I) will flash.
  6. After 5 seconds, the setting is accepted, lamp I stops flashing (stays lit), and the cycle begins.

Interrupting/Cancelling a Programme:

To interrupt or set a new program, select the Stop/Reset symbol on knob A and wait 5 seconds. Once accepted, lamp I flashes, and the appliance can be turned off. Turning knob A during an active cycle has no effect unless it's set to Stop/Reset.

Detergent Dispenser (D):

The dispenser has three compartments:

  1. Detergent for pre-wash.
  2. Detergent for the main cycle wash.
  3. Fabric conditioner. An extra compartment (4) for bleach is provided as an accessory and inserted into compartment 1.

Easy Iron (E):

This function reduces creases, making ironing easier. It can be used with cotton programs 3-4, synthetics programs 5-6-7, and delicates programs 9-10. When pressed in programs 5-6-7-9-10, the wash cycle pauses on the symbol. Pressing E again completes the cycle. This function should not be used with Stain Removal (G) and is only enabled for drying if combined with the "Iron" damp level setting.

Slow Spin (F):

Reduces spinning speed:

  • From 1200 to 600 rpm for cotton and linen programs.
  • From 850 to 600 rpm for synthetic fabric programs.

Stain Removal (G):

Initiates a more intensive wash to optimize liquid additives for resistant stains. Pre-wash cannot be activated when this button is pressed.

ON-OFF (H):

Switches the washer-dryer on or off. Turning off the appliance does not cancel a selected program.

ON-OFF Lamp / Door Locked (I):

  • Flashes slowly: Appliance is on, awaiting instructions, or cycle has ended (door can be opened).
  • Flashes quickly: Door should not be opened.
  • Steady light: Program accepted, cycle in progress.

Drying Cycle Lamp (L):

Indicates that knob C is set for a drying cycle, and the appliance will perform the selected tumble drying after the wash cycle.

Combined Washing and Drying Programme:

For maximum load, follow the instructions for automatic washing and drying. For loads exceeding the maximum, perform a wash-only cycle, remove some laundry, and then perform a dry-only cycle for the remaining load.

Dry Only Cycle:

  1. Load washing (max 4 kg for cottons, see table for other fabrics).
  2. Ensure the door is shut, the plug is inserted, the water tap is on, and button H is not pressed (O position).
  3. Set knob A to the appropriate drying setting for the fabric type.
  4. Select the desired drying cycle using knob C.
  5. Press ON-OFF button H (I position).

At the End of the Wash Cycle:

Lamp I flashes quickly, then slowly. Turn off the appliance (H to O position). The door can then be opened safely. Leave the door open after removing laundry to allow air circulation.

At the End of the Drying Cycle:

Wait for lamp I to flash slowly. Turn off the appliance (H to O position). Open the door and remove laundry. Leave the door open or ajar to prevent bad odours.

Maintenance Features

The document implicitly suggests maintenance practices through usage instructions:

  • Air Circulation: Leaving the door open or ajar after wash and dry cycles helps prevent bad odours and ensures proper ventilation of the drum.
  • Detergent Dispenser: Regular use of the detergent dispenser implies it should be kept clean to ensure proper dispensing of washing agents.
  • Door Seal: Ensuring the door is shut correctly before operation suggests that the door seal should be maintained to prevent leaks.
  • Water Tap: The instruction to ensure the water tap is turned on implies that the water inlet filter might need occasional checking or cleaning if water flow issues arise.

The manual focuses primarily on operational aspects rather than explicit maintenance instructions, but these points can be inferred.
