  An unexpected calibration failure on Industrial Scientific Test Equipment can occur if gas is not connected to the appropriate Gas In connection, resulting in calibration using fresh air. It can also happen if the gas configured for the Gas In tab in the DSSAC does not match the actual gas in the cylinder, or if the IDS is part of a cluster and the cluster is configured incorrectly in the DSSAC.

  If DSSAC clients and IDS cannot connect to the DSS for your Industrial Scientific Test Equipment, verify that the server is running and connected to the network. For DSSAC clients, ensure the correct server IP address is specified in the Login dialog box. For IDSs, verify the correct server IP address is configured by checking the Information screen from the IDS menu. Also, note that the DSS does not communicate with IDSs. Finally, verify that the DSS has a fixed IP address and that DHCP is running to assign IP addresses to the IDSs.
