REAR FOG LIGHT
The rear fog light improves the visibility of your
vehicle in heavy fog forthe followingtraffic.
Pleaseobserve the country-specific laws on the
useofrearfog lights.
NOTE
Thefront fog lights must be switched on before the
rear fog light will operate.
To switch on the rear fog light:
•
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position or start
the engine.
•
Turn the light switch to

or <AUTO>
.
•
Pressthe

button. The yellow
m
indicator light
in the combination meter lights up
To switch off the rear fog light:
•
pressthe

indicator light
in the combination meter turnsoff.
The rear fog light should be used only when vis-
ibility is seriously reduced. (Generally,toless
than 50 m(116 ft))
WARNING
In freezing temperatures, the washer fluid mayfreeze
on the windscreen and obscure your vision. Warm the
windscreen with thedefogger before youwash the
windscreen.
CAUTION
•
Do not operate the washer continuously formore
than 30 seconds.
•
Do not operate the washer if the window washer
fluid reservoir is empty.
•
If the wiper operation is interrupted by snow or
ice, the wiper maystop moving to protect its mo-
tor.Ifthisoccurs, turn the wiper switch to the
“OFF” position and remove the snow or iceonand
around thewiper arms. In approximately 1minute,
turn the switch on again to operate the wiper.
•
Alwaysuse window washer fluid recommended by
INFINITI.
NOTE
•
Do notoperate the windscreen wipers when the
windscreen is dry, as thiscould damagethe wiper
blades. Moreover,dustthathas collected on the
windscreen canscratchthe glass if wiping takes
placewhen the windscreen is dry.
•
If it is necessary to switch on the wind screen wip-
ersin dryweatherconditions,alwaysoperatethem
using washer fluid.
•
Ifthewindscreenwipersleavesmears onthe wind-
screen after the vehicle has been washed in an
automatic carwash, thismay be due to waxor
other residue. Cleanthe windscreen with washer
fluidafter an automatic carwash.
