The Windscreen demisting function automatically
sets the blower output to the optimum demisting ef-
fect. As aresult, the airflow mayincrease or decrease
automatically after the

button is pressed
NOTE
Youcan adjust the blower output manually while the
Windscreen demisting function is in operation: by
adjusting the airflow control for the air-conditioning
or climate control system (see Heater and air
conditioner in the 4. Display screen, heater and air
conditioner,and audio system section).
To deactivate the de-icer:
Pressthe
m
button. The indicator lamp in the
m
button turnsoff.The previoussettings are
reactivated. Air-recirculation mode remainsdeac-
tivated.

turnsoff.Airflow and air distribution are set
to automaticmode.

To sound the horn, push the centre pad areaof
the steering wheel.
The hornwillonlyoperate when the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
POWER WINDOWS
WARNING
Makesure that allpassengershavetheir hands,
etc. inside the vehicle while it is in motion and
before closing the windows. Usethe window lock
switch to prevent unexpected useofthe power
windows.
To help avoid risk of injuryordeath through unin-
tended operationofthevehicle and orits systems,
including entrapment in windows or inadvertent
door lockactivation, do not leave children, people
who require the assistanceofothers or pets unat-
tended in your vehicle. Additionally,the tempera-
ture inside aclosed vehicle on awarm day can
quicklybecome high enoughto causeasignificant
risk of injuryordeath to people and pets.
The switches for all side windows are located on
thedriver’s door.There is alsoaswitchoneach
door for the corresponding side window The
switches on the driver’s door take precedence.
Side window reversingfeature
The side windows are equipped with an auto-
matic reversing feature. If asolid object blocks
or restricts aside window from travelling up-
wards during the automatic closing process,the
side window opensagain automatically.During
themanual closing process, theside window
only opensagain automatically after the corre-
sponding switch is released. The automatic re-
