NOTE
If youpressone of the two buttonsand do not hear a
tone, the relevant setting has alreadybeen selected.
The vehicle is lockedautomatically when the ig-
nition is switched on and the wheels are turn-
ing.
Youcould therefore belockedout if:

The vehicle is being pushed.
•
Th

is
being towed.
•
The vehicle is being tested on adynamometer.
Youcan also activate and deactivate the auto-
matic locking function using the vehicle infor-
mation display.
IMMOBILISER
Theimmobiliser prevents your vehicle from be-
ingstarted without the correct key.
•
To activate with the key
:remove the keyfrom
the ignition lock.
•
To activate with the Intelligent Key:
switch the
ignition off and open the driver’s door.
•
To deactivate:
switch on the ignition.
Whenleaving the vehicle, alwaystakethe key
with youand lockthe vehicle. Anyone canstart
the engine if avalid keyhas been left inside the
vehicle.
NOTE
Theimmobiliser is alwaysdeactivated when youstart
the engine.
