Avisual and audible alarm is triggered if the
alarm system is armed and youopen:

To switch the alarm off with the key:press the

button on the key. The alarm is
switched off
The alarm is not switched off,even if youclose
the open door thathas triggered it, for example.
TOW-AWAYPROTECTION
(where fitted)
An audibleand visual alarm is triggered if your
vehicle’sangle of inclinationisaltered while
tow-away protection is armed. Thiscan occur if
thevehicle is jackedup onone side,for example.
Arming
Makesure that the doors and backdoor are
closed. Only then is tow-awayprotection armed.
Lock the vehicle with the keyorintelligent key.
Towawayprotection is armed after approxi-
mately 60 seconds.
Switching off
Unlockthevehicle with thekeyorintelligentkey.
or
Insert the keyinto the ignition lock. Tow-away
protectionisswitched off automatically.
Deactivating
1. Remove the keyfrom the ignition switch and
open the driver’s door.
2.Pressbutton

2lights up
briefly.
3. Lock the vehicle with the keyorintelligent
key.
Tow-away protection is deactivated.
Tow-away protection remainsdeactivated until:

The vehicle is unlockedagain.

Adoor is opened and closed again.
